Your use of the Service, including creating a free account or purchasing a paid subscription, constitutes your affirmative agreement to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Gun Compliance Check is an automated informational tool that provides general reference information about state and federal firearms laws. The Service allows users to input firearm information — including UPC barcode, manufacturer part number, or make and model — and receive general compliance information based on publicly available legal data and AI-generated analysis.
The Service covers all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia and addresses topics including assault weapons bans, magazine capacity limits, permit requirements, waiting periods, and dealer notes.

You should always consult a licensed firearms attorney before purchasing, transferring, or possessing any firearm. Do not rely solely on this Service for any legal compliance determination.
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years of age (or 21 where required by applicable law) to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Free Plan: Free accounts receive 3 compliance checks per day. No credit card is required.
Pro Plan: Pro subscriptions are billed at $9.99 per month. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds are issued for partial months.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. By purchasing a subscription you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Firearms Express LLC does not store your payment card information.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY OF INFORMATION. Firearms Express LLC makes no representations that the information provided is accurate, complete, current, or reliable.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FIREARMS EXPRESS LLC, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Firearms Express LLC and its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of or reliance on the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

The Service, including its software, design, content, and all related materials, is the proprietary property of Firearms Express LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without express written permission.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Sussex County, New Jersey.
Firearms Express LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
