Firearm Lookup Data: When you use the tool, we receive the firearm information you enter — including UPC barcodes, manufacturer part numbers, make, model, caliber, and state selected. This data may be stored in our database to improve lookup performance for all users.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service — including pages visited, features used, number of checks performed, and timestamps. This helps us improve the Service.
Device & Technical Data: We automatically collect browser type, IP address, operating system, and referring URLs when you access the Service.
Payment Information: If you purchase a Pro subscription, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Firearm specifications you enter — including make, model, caliber, and UPC — may be stored in our Supabase database to improve lookup speed and accuracy for all users. This data is stored without linking it to your personal identity. By using the Service you consent to anonymous storage of firearm specification data you enter.
We do not store your compliance results linked to your personal account. Compliance checks are processed in real time and not retained.
By creating an account you agree to receive transactional emails such as account confirmation and billing notifications. You may also receive occasional product updates about Gun Compliance Check and related services including FFL Watch. You may opt out of non-transactional emails at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email or contacting us at support@fflwatch.com.

We use browser localStorage to track your daily check count (for free accounts) and session state. We may use cookies for authentication purposes through Memberstack. We do not use advertising tracking cookies or third-party analytics that sell your data.
We implement reasonable security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted password storage, and access controls to protect your information. However, no internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or through the Service.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable New Jersey law.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymous firearm lookup data may be retained indefinitely to improve our database.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at support@fflwatch.com. We will respond to requests within 30 days. Note that deletion of your account will terminate your access to the Service.
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately at support@fflwatch.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
